Six Flags Over Texas

The Trolley District provides route-based trolley service to Six Flags over Texas on each day of the park’s regular season, commencing service one-half hour before park opening and continuing until park closing.  The last evening departure from Six Flags is at the time of park closing.  Plan your park visit so that you are not stranded in a park ride line at closing time.   The trolley cannot wait on you!

Trolley service information is available at most hotels on a monitor located in the trolley lobby.  When checking in at your hotel, ask the front desk clerk about the monitor location.

The announced trolley route service starting time is the time of departure from the hotel on each route most distant from the park or attraction served.  For scheduled hotel departure times, consult the schedule at the hotel.  For arrival time at the hotel, see “Next Bus” on the trolley monitor; or, if no monitor is present, consult the front desk clerk.

The service schedule is subject to change as Six Flags may add to or revise its schedule. Please consult the Six Flags Over Texas website for current schedule and operating hours.

 


Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

The Trolley District provides route-based trolley service to Hurricane Harbor on each day of that park’s regular season, commencing service one-half hour before park opening and continuing until park closing.  The last evening departure from Hurricane Harbor is at the time of park closing.  Plan your park visit so that you will be at the marked trolley stop near the Hurricane Harbor entrance at closing time.   The trolley cannot wait on you!

Trolley service information is available at most hotels on a monitor located in the trolley lobby.  When checking in at your hotel, ask the front desk clerk about the monitor location.

Texas Rangers Ballpark

The Trolley District provides route-based trolley service to the Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington for each home game of the Rangers’ season, usually commencing one and one-half hours before the game starting time with return to hotels immediately following the game.

Trolley service information is available at most hotels on a monitor located in the trolley lobby.  When checking in at your hotel, ask the front desk clerk about the monitor location.

The announced trolley service start time is the time of departure from the hotel on each route most distant from the park or attraction served.  For hotel departure times and other Ballpark service information, consult the lobby trolley monitor; or, if no monitor is present, consult the front desk clerk.

The service schedule is subject to change as the Texas Rangers’ schedule or game times may be revised.  Please consult the Texas Rangers’ website for their current schedule.

Nextbus predictions DO NOT APPLY to Texas Ranger Ballpark service.

Route service is available to the Ballpark on non-game days – to take a Ballpark tour or to visit the Grand Slam Shop for Rangers sportswear and memorabilia – on any day when there is route service to Six Flags Over Texas.  Transfer may be required on some routes.  Consult the Texas Rangers website for information concerning Ballpark tours and shop location and hours.


Cowboys Stadium

The Trolley District provides route-based trolley service to the Cowboys Stadium on those days when route service is scheduled to Six Flags (see Six Flags / Hurricane HarborBUT ONLY IF THERE IS NO SCHEDULED STADIUM EVENT ON THE DATE OF SERVICE. 

Trolley service information is available at most hotels on a monitor located in the trolley lobby.  When checking in at your hotel, ask the front desk clerk about the monitor location.

EXCEPT ON DAYS WHEN THERE IS A STADIUM EVENT, this service will be available daily from the time route service commences each morning  (see Six Flags / Hurricane Harbor)  until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Please refer to the Cowboys Stadium website for details concerning Pro Shop and stadium tour hours of operation. 

The Yellow Route serves the stadium.  Passengers on the other routes must transfer at Six Flags Over Texas.  Tell the trolley driver on boarding; the driver will give instructions concerning service to the stadium.

TROLLEY SERVICE TO THE STADIUM IS NOT AVAILABLE ON DATES WHEN A CONCERT, ATHLETICCONTEST OR OTHER MAJOR EVENT IS TAKING PLACE THERE.

THERE ARE SEVERAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PROVIDERS SERVING COWBOYS STADIUM FOR SCHEDULED EVENTS.  CONTACT YOUR HOTEL FOR INFORMATION.

 


International Bowling Campus & Museum

The Trolley District provides route-based trolley service to the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame on each day of the regular trolley season, commencing service one-half hour before Six Flags Over Texas park opening and continuing until park closing.  The Museum is not open on Sundays and Mondays.

Trolley service information is available at most hotels on a monitor located in the trolley lobby.  When checking in at your hotel, ask the front desk clerk about the monitor location.

This attraction is located on the Blue Route.  Guests at hotels on other routes should take their route trolley to Six Flags and transfer to the Blue Route.

Downtown Arlington

There is a great new attraction in Arlington.  It is “Downtown Arlington”, which has become a vibrant center of entertainment and dining in a people-friendly park-like setting.

During the summer of 2013 there will be a special trolley service – the “Downtown Express” – between District hotels and the restaurants and entertainment venues in central Arlington.  This service will be provided nightly, from 5:30 pm until 10:30pm, March 2nd through September 30th. Service will not run on Sundays, make sure to look at the calendar to find the days of service for Downtown Express.

UTA College Park District    In downtown Arlington there is a 20-acre area that is now developing as a new, unique part of the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington known as the College Park District.  At the heart of the area is a new university special events center known as College Park Center.  Adjacent to the center is mixed-use development of student housing, retail stores and restaurants and a University welcome center.

The College Park District is adjacent to the downtown area served by the Downtown Express and is only a short walk from the Levitt Pavilion.  While the Downtown Express does not schedule specific service for College Park Center events, it provides easy access to the University area.

RESERVATION REQUIRED: The service is free to District hotel guests, but is offered on a reservation only basis.  Make reservations on-line by submitting the form below or by calling 817-538-0777.  Reservations must be made not later than 4:00 PM on the day of service.  Service is subject to space availability.

Reservations will be accepted anytime in advance but no later than Four PM the day of the desired trip.  Requests made after noon of the day of the desired trip will be honored on a space available basis.  Reservations must be made for individulas or a family.  All adults must have a reservation, only two adults per reservation will be accepted.

Arlington Convention Center

The Arlington Convention Center is a popular venue for meetings of local, regional and national organizations throughout the year.  The Convention Center is located in the heart of the Entertainment District adjacent to the Texas Rangers Ballpark.

Trolley’s service hourly during normal business hours.  Please tell your driver upon boarding.

Arlington Visitor Information

The Visitor Information Center – the “VIC” – is located in the heart of the Entertainment District.  It is a source of useful information about the Arlington area, including maps and brochures of area attractions, as well as valuable coupons from local businesses.

Open six days a week during the trolley season, the VIC is staffed by friendly volunteers who are trained to assist visitors in enjoying their time in Arlington.

Transfers Between Routes: Guests may transfer between routes at the Six Flags trolley stop.
